-
Carry 22 Liters of Gear in a Low-Profile Frame: The main compartment opens 180 degrees for easy packing and includes a floating padded sleeve for laptops up to 16 inches. This design maximizes space for medical kits, armor panels, and daily tools within a compact 21-inch high profile.
-
Deploy Weapons Instantly from the 17-Inch CCW Compartment: The dedicated Vertx Gamut 22L CCW pack section uses a Rapid Access Pull Tab to give you immediate control of your firearm. It accommodates compact carbines or full-sized handguns and utilizes hook-and-loop lining for custom holster placement to ensure a consistent draw stroke.
-
Withstand Hard Use with 500D Bonded Nylon: Built with bonded nylon thread and heavy-duty zippers, this Vertx Gamut 22L EDC pack resists tearing and abrasion during rough operations. It remains lightweight enough for all-day carry while protecting your equipment from the elements.
-
Customize Your Loadout with the Stowable Gear Sling: The front flap converts into a sling to secure helmets or jackets externally when you need more space. Behind this flap, a laser-cut MOLLE panel allows you to mount additional pouches and equipment for specific mission requirements.

What are some common accessories to add to the Vertx Gamut 22L?
Capacity & Sustainment Scaling for the Gamut 22L
-
Gamut 32L Backpack: Expands your operational footprint with 10 additional liters of storage for overnight or multi-day sustainment. This option integrates the same rapid-access features as the Vertx Gamut 22L pack but supports heavier loadouts and larger electronic suites for extended duration missions.
-
Gamut 26L Backpack: Bridges the gap between daily carry and extended field use. This platform offers a moderate increase in internal volume for users who need to carry additional layers or medical equipment without committing to the bulk of a full 3-day assault pack.
High-Mobility Sling Configurations
-
Gamut 18L Sling: Streamlines the Gamut architecture into a compact, single-strap design for maximum agility in crowded urban environments. It allows the operator to rotate the entire system from back to chest instantly for immediate access to the CCW compartment.
-
Gamut 22L Sling: Matches the capacity of your standard Vertx Gamut 22L but utilizes a dynamic sling strap for rapid manipulation. This variant permits the carriage of full-sized 15" laptops and armor panels while retaining the ability to swing the pack forward for on-the-move gear access.
Dedicated Concealment Platforms
-
Gamut CCW Backpack: Prioritizes the weapon system above all other gear. This configuration focuses on optimizing the geometry of the weapon compartment to ensure the fastest possible draw stroke and consistent holster retention for dedicated defensive roles.

Vertx Gamut 22L FAQs
Will my laptop fit in this bag?
Yes. This Gamut 22L Backpack has a special padded sleeve that fits laptops up to 16 inches. The sleeve "floats" inside the bag, so your computer will not hit the ground if you drop the pack.
Where do I hide my weapon?
There is a hidden pocket right against your back. It is 17 inches tall, so it fits large handguns or small folded rifles. It has a large pull handle that lets you open it and draw your weapon in less than two seconds.
Is this bag big enough for daily use?
Yes. Many users choose the Vertx Gamut 22L EDC pack because it holds 22 liters of gear. This is the perfect size for a day trip, an office commute, or school. You can fit your laptop, lunch, a jacket, and medical kit without the bag looking too bulky.
What is the front flap used for?
The front panel unzips and opens up to carry big items on the outside. You can put a helmet, a heavy coat, or wet boots in that space. This saves room inside the bag for your clean, dry gear.
Will people know I am carrying tactical gear?
No. this bag is designed to look like a normal hiking or city backpack. It does not have military straps all over the outside. You can carry it in a coffee shop or a busy street without drawing attention to yourself.
Can I make this backpack bulletproof?
Yes. You can buy a ballistic insert (a soft armor plate) and slide it into the laptop sleeve. This turns your backpack into a shield that can stop bullets and protect your heart and lungs.
