ANIMAL OUTDOOR WATER FOUNTAIN
Two bear cubs on a tree trunk at different heights, caught mid climb. Not an adult bear and not a single figure posed for viewing. The relationship between the two is what makes this read as a scene rather than as a statue, and a scene holds attention in a way a pose does not.
The mechanism is simple enough. With one figure your eye arrives, registers what it is, and leaves. With two at different heights it moves between them, and moving between them is what makes people ask what is happening. Who is higher. What are they doing. That question is visible from across a garden, where the fine detail of fur or bark is not.
At 39.3 inches this is a garden scale piece rather than an accent. Water runs from the top of the trunk down through the bark texture, and the LED sits low in the hollow base, reading cool rather than warm against the pale bark. Two cubs and a tree need context to read properly, so give it planting behind and space around rather than tucking it against a bare wall.
A soft run rather than a fall. Water travels down the bark texture in contact with the surface for most of its path, so it never gathers into a drop and never lands hard. It is a close range sound that suits a garden bed you pass rather than a courtyard you need to fill. It will not cover traffic. How loud it seems will still shift with the water level and the surfaces around it, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own garden.

Fill it, plug it in, done. No plumbing and nothing to bury. Set it level before filling, since a tilted trunk sends the flow down one side of the bark rather than through the texture as intended.
Give it something behind it. Two cubs on a tree need planting or greenery for context, and against a bare wall or in open lawn the figures lose the setting that makes them read as woodland.
Keep enough water in the reservoir to cover the pump so it never runs dry. Water running across textured bark spreads thin and evaporates faster than a contained stream, so check every few days in warm weather.
Clear leaves and debris from the trunk top and the base recess. On a textured surface a blockage sends water off the side of the trunk instead of down the bark.
The bark and fur detail are painted resin, and years of full sun will lift some depth out of the color, most visibly on the darker areas. A position with afternoon shade keeps it looking new longer. Clean with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners off the paint.
Before hard freezes, drain the reservoir completely, disconnect and store the pump indoors, and dry the piece out. Water left in the base recess through a freeze and thaw is what causes damage.

Garden beds and lawn corners with planting behind them, woodland and naturalistic settings, family gardens where a character piece is the intention. It needs breathing room and green context. It does not suit a formal courtyard or a minimal modern patio, where sculpted animals read as out of place regardless of how well made they are.
A single figure is identified and passed. Two cubs at different heights imply something happening between them, so the eye moves and people look longer. It also reads from further away, since the relationship between two shapes is visible at a distance where facial detail is not.
Worth being honest about. A character based fountain announces a subject, and once it is in the garden that subject is what people see first. If you want water without a theme, a rock or geometric piece is the better choice. If you want the fountain to be a talking point, that is exactly what this does.
Children are drawn to animal fountains, which is the appeal and also the thing to plan for. Set it on a level solid surface out of the main running route, do not let children climb on the cubs or the trunk, and run the cord along a bed edge so it will not catch a foot. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
