CLASSICAL TABLETOP GARDEN FOUNTAIN
Three stone bowls on a fluted classical pedestal, in weathered gray with moss worked into the recesses. The silhouette is the one you see in European garden fountains, scaled down rather than reinvented. Most tabletop fountains are rock piles or stacked pots. This one has a proper pedestal, and that changes what kind of object it is.
Check the footprint before anything else. At 19.7 by 14.4 inches it takes roughly three times the surface area of the other tabletop pieces here, which are mostly around ten inches square. On a desk that is the difference between fitting and not fitting. It belongs on a wide console, a hall table, a low garden wall, or a patio side table rather than beside a keyboard.
At 17.6 pounds it is also considerably heavier than the small pieces, which is a fair trade. It sits solidly and will not skid or get knocked, and it reads as a real object rather than as a desk accessory.
Fuller than the small tabletop pieces and quieter than a floor fountain. Three tiers with real bowl depth give the water somewhere to land, so you get a softer rounder sound than the sharp trickle of a miniature. On a console or a hall table it carries a few feet without filling the room. How loud it seems will shift with the water level and the surface it stands on, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own space.

Fill it, plug it in, done. Measure the surface first, since at nearly twenty inches long this needs a wide console, a hall table, a low wall, or a patio side table rather than a desk.
Set it level before filling, since a tilted pedestal sends water off one side of the top bowl instead of around it.
Keep enough water in the base to cover the pump so it never runs dry. The reservoir is larger than on the small tabletop pieces, so weekly checks are usually enough indoors, more often outdoors in heat.
Use filtered or distilled water in hard water areas, since white film on weathered gray stone is visible and settles into the carved detail.
The moss is a finish detail rather than living growth, so it needs no care but does need protecting. Wipe with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners away from the recesses where the detail sits.
It is rated for both. Outdoors, drain the bowls and the base completely before hard freezes, disconnect and store the pump, and dry the piece out. At 17.6 pounds bringing it indoors for winter is a one person job.

Probably not, and this is the main thing to check. At 19.7 by 14.4 inches it covers about three times the area of the ten inch square tabletop fountains here. A wide console, a hall table, a sideboard, a low garden wall, or a patio side table all work. A working desk usually does not.
Form and scale. The others imitate nature, rock stacks and pottery. This one is a classical pedestal fountain, so it reads as architecture rather than landscape. It is also much larger and heavier than the rest, which is why it sits on furniture rather than on a desk.
Yes, it is rated for both. Outdoors it suits a patio table, a low wall, or a porch step, where the classical outline sits naturally with planting. Drain it before freezing weather.
The weight makes it stable, which is an advantage over the lighter tabletop pieces, but the upper bowls should not be pulled on. Keep it back from the edge of whatever it stands on, and run the cord where it cannot be caught. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
