BOHO TABLETOP WATER FOUNTAIN
Four engraved terracotta toned bowls with geometric banding cut into the rims, set on gray stone columns above a matte black chevron patterned basin. The color pairing is the whole design decision, and it is worth understanding before you buy.
Terracotta on its own reads farmhouse. Put the same warm bowls above a black patterned base and the piece stops belonging exclusively to a rustic room. It picks up warmth from the clay and structure from the black, which means it sits in a modern interior, a boho one, and a traditional one without looking out of place in any of them. That flexibility is unusual at this price and this size.
Four pouring spouts rather than rim overflow gives defined streams you can see individually. Warm LEDs light the bowls, and at 7.3 pounds on a 10.4 inch square base it moves with one hand.
Four distinct pours rather than a wash. Because each bowl uses a spout, the streams are defined and you hear separate arrivals with a light rhythm to them. That is more noticeable at close range than a smooth cascade would be, which some people prefer and some do not. The pump adjusts down if it turns out to be more than you want on a desk. How loud it seems will shift with the flow setting and whether it stands on a hard surface, which is why a fixed decibel number would tell you nothing useful about your own room.

Fill it, plug it in, done. Set it level, because a spouted bowl out of plumb pours past the bowl below rather than into it, which sends water outside the fountain.
Put a tray or a mat under it. Any tabletop fountain throws fine spray, and on untreated wood that shows over months.
Keep enough water in the base to cover the pump so it never runs dry. A small reservoir drops fast, faster still indoors with heating on, so check every few days.
Use filtered or distilled water in hard water areas. On a small fountain white film appears on the rims within weeks, and it settles into the engraved banding where it is hardest to remove.
Wipe with a soft cloth and keep harsh liquid cleaners and abrasives off the engraving. Rinse the pump every few months, since small pumps clog sooner than large ones. Keep the spouts clear, because a blocked spout redirects that stream outside the bowl below.

Yes, and that is the point of the black base. A fountain made entirely of terracotta would not. Here the warm bowls read as an accent on a modern anchor, so it works in a contemporary room, a boho one, and a traditional one.
That one has five tiers on an aged timber base and reads consistently farmhouse. This one has four tiers with spouts and a matte black base, which makes it more flexible across room styles. Choose that for a rustic interior and this for a mixed or modern one.
A desk, a console, a shelf, a bedside table, a bathroom counter. The base is about the area of a dinner plate. It is rated for indoor use, so treat it as furniture rather than as a garden object.
At 7.3 pounds it is easy to knock off a surface, so keep it back from table edges and out of reach of small children and cats. Run the cord where it cannot be pulled. The recirculating water is not intended for drinking.
