Ground your space and refresh your skin with our handcrafted Cedar Hydrosol — pure steam-distilled cedar water made in small batches from organic cedar botanicals. This versatile herbal mist works as a smoke-free smudge spray, natural insect repellent, energy cleansing tool, room and linen spray, and cooling facial mist all in one. The grounding, protective power of cedar, now in convenient, alcohol-free spray form.
Hydrosols — also called floral waters, herbal waters, or essential waters — are pure herbal distillates produced by steam-distilling flowers and herbs. They share many of the same therapeutic and energetic properties as essential oils but in a gentler, much less concentrated form, making them safe for direct skin contact and everyday use. Our Cedar Hydrosol captures the grounding, cleansing, and bug-repelling essence of cedar in a pure, alcohol-free spray.
Cedar has been revered for centuries across cultures for its protective, grounding, and purifying properties. In Native American tradition, cedar is used in smudging rituals for blessing, welcoming, and emotional clearing. Cedar is also one of nature's most effective natural insect repellents — its aroma is known to keep mosquitoes, moths, and other pests away. Few plants offer such a powerful combination of spiritual, skincare, and practical benefits.
We steam-distill all our hydrosols ourselves at home, in small batches, from pure organic cedar botanicals. No shortcuts, no fillers, no synthetic additives — just real cedar water made the traditional way. Sourced respectfully and crafted with reverence for the sacred nature of this plant.

What can I use Cedar Hydrosol for?
Cedar hydrosol is one of our most versatile sprays — use it as a smoke-free smudge spray for energy cleansing, a natural insect repellent (especially for moths and ants), a calming facial mist, or a grounding room spray.
Does it actually repel bugs?
Yes — cedar is one of nature's most effective natural insect repellents. It's especially good against moths, ants, and other small pests. Spray in closets, drawers, pet bedding areas, or around windows.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes — cedar hydrosol is gentle enough for facial use and is especially good for oily, acne-prone, or combination skin.
Is it safe for pets?
Cedar hydrosol is generally safe to use around dogs (cedar bedding is even common for dogs). For cats, use sparingly as cats can be more sensitive. Never spray directly on pets.
What does it smell like?
Warm, woodsy, grounding — like fresh cedar wood. It's a comforting, masculine-leaning scent that's also beloved by women who enjoy earthy aromas.
How is this different from the White Sage & Cedar blend?
The pure Cedar Hydrosol is focused on grounding, insect repelling, and the cedar scent. The White Sage & Cedar blend adds energy-cleansing benefits from sage. Choose based on your primary goal.
