Classic Chai combines organic black teas and spices for a downright delicious cup of tea. Keep it simple: spoon it up, brew, and enjoy a creamy, spicy cup of chai in minutes. We crafted this blend to taste perfect on its own, without cream or sweetener (although some folks swear by a dollop of honey and coconut milk). Or, to amp up the spice, pair this chai with a dash of our Lake Missoula House Chai Mix! Start with a solid foundation, and then make it your own.

With all things chai, we take our inspiration from India, where ubiquitous street vendors serve the beloved drink. Recipes vary, but never too much: black tea and spices, simple and hearty, good enough for everyday. Our Classic Chai starts with our blend of black teas, plus some deep notes of vanilla and cream. Cinnamon weaves in and out of the black teas, present for sure, but quiet enough to be subtle, almost. Then ginger adds a bit more warmth, and a tongue-tingling depth, to the cup. Finally, cardamom leaves an exotic accent as each sip lingers.
